Introductory Information
Transition Innovations Laboratories are part of the broader act of Transition Innovations. They constitute the brains of this initiative, and their purpose, briefly, is the production and maturation of applied technological solutions regarding energy transition and circular economy. At the same time, they develop strategies for the exploitation of these solutions and promote their usage.

What We Do
In short, we develop solutions from the stage of idea to the stage of production and usage. This is specifically called, the evolution of the Technological Readiness Level (TRL) of a technology or technique. The TRL level starts from the idea stage and reaches up to the final product ready for sale. However, between these stages, beyond development, there is the matter of business exploitation. We offer services throughout this entire range, provided that the solution falls within our Fields of Interest, as shown below.
The said technologies may either be a device, mechanical or electronic, software, a new material or a combination of all these. The said techniques may be a new business model, such as the one we implement, the development of a new method, a new way of processing and analyzing data, and many others.
However, the ideas that lead to the said technological solutions already exist. We have a clear vision, from which has been born the plan that the framework of the Transition Innovations initiative implements.
Transition Innovations Laboratories have undertaken the implementation of developing the technological solutions of this said plan, while at the same time offer their infrastructure as services to third parties. This is because there is a large gap in research and development among large companies and smaller ones, which nevertheless form the backbone of modern societies.
On the other hand, the Transition Innovations Laboratories do not undertake any project, no matter how innovative it may be, although they would like to. Below you can be informed about the Fields of Interest in which should fall into, any service request. We kindly ask you to study them before contacting us, so that any cooperation may be as productive as possible.
Fields of Interest
We are interested in research, development, and exploitation of technological solutions on the fields of energy transition and circular economy, something which may sound general.
More specifically, these technological solutions may be studies of new applications and uses of renewable energy sources, or ground-up development of new ones, or the integration of new technologies into existent market sectors.
If you develop or want to improve a product or service related to the production, storage, distribution, or management of energy from RES (Renewable Energy Sources), then we can help you.
If you produce an innovative product and/or service, or you are an innovative company and want to integrate your products into existing markets, then again we can assist you. If you develop ground-up new technologies and need support in areas not in your expertise, then again, contact us.
In any case, directly or indirectly related to energy transition and circular economy, whether it is a technical product, software, or some new method or strategy, then you fall within our Fields of Interest. Additionally, you can see the applications that our laboratories already develop, so as to form a more complete picture.
Our Vision
We envision humanity inhabits the heavens, building ecosystems populated by artificial consciousness’s! Of course, this is only the vision, though the path getting there consists of many small pebbles. These pebbles are technological solutions to critical problems of the present and future, some of which are “Civilization filters,” such as the energy transition.
Trying to implement the path towards our vision, we want to collaborate with others. Beyond this, however, we want to generally help anyone trying on its own to put their pebble on the path towards The Vision. For this reason, we decide to offer our services and/or infrastructures to third parties, based on a relationship of collaboration, professional friendship, and trust.
I used to say that “the future is now we envision it“, now I just look at the Emerging Future!
